Double room with own bathroom – Crawley Down £475

I’m looking for a friendly, responsible female lodger to share my home in Crawley Down.

The room is initially available from October until **20 December**, as I need the house to be empty over the Christmas period. If the arrangement works well for us both, there may be the possibility of returning/continuing after Christmas, which we could discuss nearer the time.

I’m a friendly, independent professional woman in my 50s and work partly from home. It’s a relaxed and welcoming household and I’m looking for someone who would enjoy having their own space while also being happy to chat and feel part of the home. I enjoy walking, reading and spending time with my dogs, and I’m looking for someone with a fairly relaxed lifestyle who would appreciate a peaceful home.

You would have a comfortable double bedroom and your own bathroom with bath, basin and toilet. The house has four bedrooms, a lounge, conservatory, kitchen and garden, and there is space for a car on the drive.

**Rent is £475 per month including bills.**

The reduced rent reflects that I’m particularly looking for a dog-loving lodger who would enjoy helping me with my two small dogs. They are very much part of the household, so it’s important that whoever lives here genuinely enjoys being around dogs and would be happy to help with things such as occasional walks and feeding when needed.

One of the dogs also needs regular medication by injection. It would therefore be a real bonus to find someone who is comfortable with this, or willing to learn how to give the injection safely. Full guidance would be provided.

This would suit someone looking for a peaceful, friendly home rather than simply a room to rent. I’d like whoever moves in to feel comfortable and at home here, while also being considerate and respectful of shared spaces.

The initial agreement would run until **20 December**, with an agreed **one-week notice/break clause for either of us** should the arrangement not work out.
