Double room avaliable in character cottage

Short/medium term lodger wanted but can be a little flexible. Ideally 3-12 months.

I am just finishing renovating the house and it will be ready in a week or two.

The room is spacious, east facing and has plenty of storage.
Lovely views over the Fittleworth brooks in a character cottage. The cottage is a stones throw from the river Rother which you can fish with a permit.

I am looking for a clean and tidy professional. You will be sharing with a cat and dogs. The dogs are mostly outside in the kenneI work from home most of the time.

The house has all the mod coms including, 4K TV, Prime, washing machine, dishwasher, central heating, WIFI..... There is plenty of parking outside, a pub next door and a lovely little walled garden to sit in. You are welcome to use of the outside bar gas grill in the garden. Also have a few hens so always fresh eggs.

Inside, there is an upstairs bathroom and a second toilet on the ground floor. The house has a large lounge with two fire places that keep the place cosey. There is also a modern kitchen with its own herb garden.

You will need to me pay a months rent up front and a deposit before you can move in. Payments are to be paid by standing order each month.

Happy to rent out the room for part of the week (5 nights) at a reduced rate if required.


I am not keen on overnight visitors but happy for friends to visit during the day. No heavy drinkers or working from home. Working professionals only.
