Description

Though the landlord says it himself, this is an exceptional room in an exceptional household! The room itself was designed from the ground up specifically for lodgers by an interior designer and is in immaculate condition. You will be sharing with only two people, one of whom is a live in landlord and the other a lodger who has been here over a year (apart from yourself, there will be no further lodgers coming to the property). Both are genuinely quiet, considerate, tidy and easy going and are very respectful of others’ space. There will be two bathrooms between the three of us one of which is a few steps from your bedroom - do no expect queues in the morning - and we can make sure a bathroom is always available when you need it before work. All bills are included. Previous lodgers would be more than happy to share their experience of living here.

The room...  
A large, bright double room. There is a generously sized airing cupboard for your own personal use heated by it’s own internal radiator so no damp towels, trips to the laundrette to dry washing, or drying clothes strung around the room. The corner of the room is set up as a work/laptop area including a desk with draw,, lamp and comfortable adjustable office-style chair (the upgraded chair shown in close up has now replaced the chair shown in other pictures). There is also an armchair for relaxing with free-standing lamp. The room has abundant storage – a large wardrobe, chest of drawers, and lots more easily accessible space under the double ottoman bed. Before you move in, a key lock will have been fitted on the bedroom door in addition to the internal sliding lock already in place. There is a choice of two wall-mounted full length mirrors. There are blinds for adjusting light levels in the room. The designer has aimed for a colour scheme that is easy on the eye.

The house...
There is plenty of space with strong WiFi throughout. Shared areas include a well-equipped equipped kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, and your own storage space in cupboards, fridge and freezer, a roomy lounge, and the two shower rooms. There is a good sized secluded garden with seating areas which you are more than welcome to use. A cleaner comes regularly to keep the house in good shape and can also regularly clean your room for a small extra charge.

Nearby... The house is situated at the end of a close so there is no passing traffic. Goring Station is under 10 minutes away on foot (with Worthing less than 10 minutes away by train and Brighton and Chichester both about half an hour). There is a bus stop and a small Budgens supermarket a couple of minutes walk from the house.
