Spacious Double Room Near Station For Rent

Large double room (4m x 4m) to rent in spacious, light, airy top floor flat of Victorian conversion just a 2 minute dash from the station.

Room is currently unfurnished but we can come to an arrangement if you are the right person and furnishing is required.

Price includes bills (electricity, heating, internet, tv and council tax)...but would ask for some common sense with the use of heating / wearing appropriate clothing for the time of year.

Shared bathroom, kitchen, living room and washing facilities.

Here is the deal: I'm looking for a quiet, clean, trustworthy and responsible individual to be the sole occupant of the flat most of the time. Someone who knows how to treat an old building / flat with care and is handy enough to take care of minor repairs should things break or change lightbulbs (if I am not around to do this myself).

I am a 39 year old male and most of the time I live in London with my girlfriend. On occasions we will come down to stay at the flat over the weekends for some peace and quiet and to escape the city (lockdowns permitting). Some weeks I may use the flat to work from for a change of scenery. Other than that, the Flat will be your space to enjoy and I will always text you in advance of my visits. So its important that you are the right person. Its a peaceful building and not for someone looking for a place to hold parties, play loud music of watch movies at full volume late at night. As I wont be there much of the time, I need to know I can trust you to take care of the place and respect our neighbours below.

When around I / we will generally keep ourselves to ourselves, but we can be sociable too.

Most importantly, I believe home life should be relaxed and stress free, you should live as you wish to live; eat, sleep and drink when you want, just be clean, tidy, quiet and respectful of flatmates and neighbours.
