We are 33 and 35 and have a 11 year old boy who lives here half the time. We have a medium size Labradoodle dog who is very friendly.

We already have a lodger living with us since August 2023, who occupies the room next door. She is very friendly and chilled and also has a dog called Remus.

We will meet any potential lodgers first and then introduce our other lodger after before agreeing lodgings.

Students - We have a 4th bedroom which we use to host short stay students from roughly Feb - July and then Sept - Nov each year. These students stay between 3 - 5 days and are very rarely here at the weekends. When the students arrive, we lay out our house rules and we are quite strict with these so it does not impact on us for work or sleep. The main bathroom is shared with students, however they are only allowed to shower at night when they return from their trips. No showers are permitted for students in the morning before work hours. We encourage student to use the toilet downstairs to brush teeth in the mornings to free up the bathroom for lodgers.

With another lodger being in the house we will be implementing a weekly housework rota for the main bathroom, toilets and kitchen. All other areas of the house the landlords will clean but lodgers are to take responsibility of their own rooms.
