I am a 29 year old young professional looking for a lodger to share a detached house.
A fully furnished double room overlooking the garden, including an amazing view from the window that stretches for tens of miles. Two wardrobes, one of them is a sliding wardrobe that occupies the whole length of the wall.
An open-plan living room/dining room, extending to a conservatory in the garden.
Fully furnished kitchen, with built-in fridge and dishwasher. There are plenty of cupboards.
A garage for storage, as well as a utility room with washing machine and an additional fridge/freezer.
The property is 3 minutes away by car from the nearest supermarket in Broadfield, 10 minutes away from the Crawley Town Centre. No. 1 bus stop is 3 minutes away from the house, which goes to Town Centre. M23 J11 is 2 minutes away (but just far enough that you can't hear it across the forest).
Rent including: electricity, wi-fi, council tax and TV license. Between November and April (inclusive) the gas bills are divided among the occupants. For the rest of the year it's included in the rent.
The lodger will be expected to share part of the house cleaning duties as part of the household. He/she needs to keep his/her bedroom clean, wash-up his/her own dishes daily, as well as keep one of the three shared bathrooms clean. I will keep the rest of house in good state, but I expect the lodger to use his/her common sense, e. g. not to bring muddy boots into the house.
