This is not just a place to stay—it’s a home cultivated with care for nearly 20 years.
The garden is alive. The house holds stillness. The rhythm here is spacious, grounded, and calm.

About the Room:

Small double (approx. 7.5ft x 12ft / 90 sq ft)

Furnished with double bed, dressing table & hanging rail

South-facing, whitewashed walls, lovely natural light

Can be reconfigured to suit

Shared Spaces:

Kitchen, bathroom, lounge (with open fireplace), and garden

Broadband internet (no TV—bring your own device if desired)

Wildish garden with permaculture ethos

Outhouses for bicycle storage

Located in a small 1860s flintstone cottage—charming and simple, with all usual amenities (no microwave)

Set in a tranquil valley village—we're a stone’s throw from convenient local amenities but a world away from the hustle and bustle

Local nature reserve, walking & cycling trails on your doorstep

Great local pub nearby; shop 5–10 mins by car

Bus stop in Singleton, 15–20 min walk

Own transport essential (nearest shop and services not walkable)

About the Household:

I’m a home-based natural medicine practitioner, also making organic skincare and aromatherapy perfumes

The home is best suited to someone grounded, kind, and energetically aware

Ideal for someone working outside the home, or a peaceful creative/practitioner

Quiet and reflective atmosphere—suited to someone who values stillness and beauty

We share cleaning and keep things relaxed but respectful

Practicalities:

Rent: £600/month + bills (~£275 incl. broadband, electricity, council tax)

Firewood contribution appreciated (shared open fire used in lounge)
