Large bedroom and bathroom for short-term let

Lovely large double bedroom with own bathroom and WC available in LGBTQI+ house for short term let (3 months from July 30th). Please note: there are four cats living at the property.

The room: room is a large double bedroom and has a bed and chair. There’s also space for a desk and we can provide a TV if needed. The built-in wardrobes offer lots of storage space, and there’s even a section with a mini fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. If you want to keep the art and rug shown in the pictures you are welcome to. The room is decorated in a calming palette of griege and blue, and is south facing so gets plenty of light.

The bathroom: recently refurbished, the bathroom has terrazzo tiles and a wooden vanity unit with lots of storage. It will be yours to use exclusively along with the separate WC.

The house: The room is located in a large, newly renovated Victorian terraced house. You will have complete access to the living room, kitchen, utility room, downstairs WC and garden. There’s space to store a bicycle and free parking nearby.

Location: The house is literally one minute’s walk from Worthing main station, with direct trains to Brighton, London, Southampton etc. There are some local shops (baker, Tesco, microbrewery pub) and the town centre is only 15 mins walk away. The street is quiet and neighbourly.

Accessibility: there are two steps up to the front door. The room is up a flight of stairs and there are three steps between the room and bathroom.

Other occupants: we are a lesbian couple and currently live here with our four cats. One of us works from home, whilst the other works evenings three days a week. Sociable and friendly, we want you to enjoy the space as your home during your stay. Our interest are varied, and we enjoy everything from nights out clubbing to doing jigsaws. We are not vegetarian/vegan and don’t smoke.

You: We are very open to providing a home to someone from the LGBTQI+ community, but this isn’t a ‘must have’. Mostly we want someone who we get along with, treats our home with respect and likes cats (they will demand your attention, usually by sticking their bum in your face!)
