We are looking to rent out our lovely house in Central Worthing from October 2024 for a minimum of 6 months.
Just a stone's throw from Worthing Station (4 minutes walk) and close to the town centre and the beach, we are offering for rent our beautiful, very central terraced 2 bed house with south-facing garden while we're abroad for a while. This will ideally from the beginning of October 2024, but we can potentially be flexible by a few weeks from then.
About the house:
2 lovely double bedrooms upstairs (one currently with a single bed, but can fold out to bigger a double - although this takes up a lot of the room when it does). This room also has a cool little walk in storage/study area!
Lounge has a wood burning stove for the cold winter months, comfy sofa (and a little chaise lounge if you want to use it). Dining table, chairs and cocktail/drinks cabinet!
There is a fully fitted kitchen with large Smeg fridge-freezer, washing machine and slim-line dishwasher. The kitchen leads into the little bathroom with a beautiful roll-top bath.
Nice little back garden with table and chairs and a bench. We have done a bit more work to the house since these photos were taken too.
The furniture to be included in the rental as follows:
1 x sofa
1 x drinks cabinet
1 x double bed and mattress
1 x single (fold out) bed
1 x dining table and 4 x chairs
Garden bench and table and chairs
Possible use, if you would like them:
1 x coffee table
2 x small side tables
1 x desk
1 x office chair
Please note, the shed may be unavailable for use as it contains a lot of tools. We may be able to relocate these though, to be discussed.
Finding the right tenant is our priority and we would want to meet you a couple of times before we all commit. As this us our home, we will require you to be very respectful, clean and tidy. We will also be using a managing agent to fully manage the tenancy and sort the contract and checks etc, as we will be abroad.
Strictly no smokers please. No drugs or parties etc ever. We have very good relationships with our neighbours and require you to live in the house quietly, peacefully and respectfully. Only genuinely interested applicants who send us a message will be responded to, please don't just like the ad and expect us to get in touch!
Please note, the deposit will be a minimum of one month's rent (to be confirmed by estate agent) but Spare Room won't let me update it to this.
