Description
Our large Victorian house is between Worthing Library and the station, making it very central. My daughter (11 years) and I live in the property and we have a lodger (female in her 30s) living in the attic room. We all get along great and have been living together a while but we have one more room to fill.
The room is a double bedroom on the middle floor. It has a wooden floor and is next to the shared bathroom. Downstairs we have a large kitchen/diner and outside is a paved garden with a table and chairs.
Primarily, this is a family home and so the lounge is a space reserved for my daughter and I, but the garden, kitchen, and laundry room are all shared.
The room is a double and gets great sunlight. It is unfurnished but I can provide a small table, bed frame and clothes rail if wanted (no extra cost).
Initially, we would like the contract to be for 3 months to be sure it's a good fit, but if so, we'd be looking to extend. So we're open to short-term lets and longer-term too.
All bills are included and you may apply for a parking permit for the street if required.
The property would suit a professional or mature student and could be a particularly good fit for a shift worker as the rest of us are on a 8-6(ish) schedule. At home workers are welcome as I work from home too and you'd be welcome to work in the dining room should you wish.
Must be pet-friendly as our home has a dog too.
