Sharing with a gay couple and a very affectionate cat! Located close A24 / A27 – convenient for commuting to Gatwick, Brighton, Horsham and Chichester. The period property is on a gentle hill with a warm and bright south facing aspect and distant sea glimpses. The building is long and spacious. We are seeking someone to become part of our friendly household rather than be a recluse, but there's no pressure to share social lives.

The vacancy is for just one person but there's a choice of 2 rooms: both are double-glazed and centrally heated. Furnished with: double bed (high quality mattress), chest of drawers, desk and chair, antique wardrobe, TV point and internet connection. Approx room size 10 sq m.

Shared areas: Large bathroom / WC; shower room with power shower and WC; open plan large dining room and TV lounge with 50” screen sat TV, vaulted ceiling and log burning stove; large well-equipped kitchen. Washing machine, tumble drier, drying room. Large secluded garden, sun-loungers, BBQ etc. Storage for bicycle. Overnight off-street parking by arrangement but plenty of unrestricted on street parking. Wifi.

The end of the street terminates on the South Downs within the National Park. Ideal for jogging, hiking, cycling. Sub post office / corner stores – end of street. Leisure centre (David Lloyd) Swimming pool – Worthing Splashpoint. Tesco superstore (1. 5 miles). Findon Village – pubs and restaurants (1. 5 miles). Beach / seashore (2 1/2 miles). There are bus services nearby including the N700 night bus from Brighton, but realistically you would need to be a car owner, or used to cycling regularly. The area is classified as a low crime district and is relatively quiet so would suit shift workers aircrew etc.
