Room in friendly/crafty house in Armley

Hiya!

I've just bought my first house and I am looking for a lodger to rent my spare room. The room is a double with a king size bed, built-in wardrobe and a desk, on the first floor next to the shared bathroom. The house is on a lovely cul-de-sac and south facing with a good size yard, and no houses on the other side of the road. It's located in Armley (Council Tax Band A), 5 minutes from the park, the canal and Armley town street, and a 10-minute bike ride to the city centre via the canal (or 15 minutes on the bus).

I am keen to help another young person get where they wanna be by offering a cheaper rent than other landlords might - which is why I am offering £350 pcm for the room, and the bills will be shared evenly.

I am in the office one day a week, working from home the rest of the time and I tend to be busy on evenings and weekends. I live with my 10 year old cat Chachou, and would love to find someone who wouldn't mind looking after him when I am away.

When not at work, you can find me outside: either gardening, hiking, volunteering and camping, I am passionate about the outdoors and environmental protection and I am keen to find someone with the same interests and values. I enjoy socialising with the people I live with so would be down to host dinners/craft nights/drinks together but I am also happy for us to do our own thing :)

I am clean and easygoing and hope to find someone who will respect the space whilst also having fun in it!
