My housemates have recently returned to Australia, so I'm on the lookout for someone lovely to take their place.
About the room: I have available a large attic bedroom which gets lots of lovely sunlight; it's mostly decorated in white, but with a grey feature wall and a dark blue feature wall. The room is furnished with a double bed (plus Simba mattress), two large chest of drawers, a clothes rail, lots of shelves and roof storage. There's lots of space and you'd be very welcome to hang pictures etc to make the room your own.
About the house: the house is a 3 bed terrace split across three floors with utility room and pantry, so there's bike storage, if that's required. There's a single room for guests too, and you'd obviously be welcome to have friends/family to stay. There's a yard to the front and back of the house, which I've just had tarted up to make a pleasant outdoor area for any nice weather we might get...! In terms of location, the house is a 5 minute walk to the Co-op/Asda, 10 minute bus journey into town (number 10, 2 and 3) and about a £6 taxi ride after a night out. The neighbours are lovely (and quiet) and the area is really peaceful (contrary to what you might think of Beeston!)
About me: My name's Laura, I'm a 34 year old Occupational Therapist, working at Leeds General Infirmary. In my spare time, I enjoy climbing, yoga and cycling. I also enjoy the local Parkrun and have recently joined the South Leeds running club, but I'm yet to brave any distance over 8km!! I'd describe myself as a chilled out, considerate and sociable housemate.
About what I'm looking for: I'm ideally looking for a professional female/mature student who is tidy, friendly and relaxed. Would be nice if we could share meals together/a bottle of something on an evening once in a while! And whereas I don't like the house to be too quiet, I think anyone who's into pumping out tunes full-blast would drive me nuts!
