This advert is for a 6 month let 29th December 2023 until the last week of June 2024.
My partner and I are taking a 6 month sabbatical so are looking to rent our room out while we are away.
My current tenant will still be living in the second bedroom so you will be sharing the house with her.
Preferably she is looking for someone who is social, likes to play boardgames and cook communally and have interactions within the house rather than just a housemate living in the same space. But we are open to other candidates too.
The room is a massive double room with a king-sized bed and plenty of space. The room has a chest of drawers and a clothes rail etc for storage.
I've had the property since March 2022 and have renovated it myself. This is a short term let only while we are away.
There is a small garden at the front of the property, and a large recently renovated garden at the rear with fruit trees, berries, raised beds and a patio area. Alongside the garden is a garage outhouse building, recently extended and divided into an office, gym and workshop space - the office has 3 desks.
There is also a shared private drive for 2 vehicles and space for 1-2 vehicles to park in front of the house. We have 2 vehicles currently.
The rent includes all bills except the electricity/gas, currently, this has been working out to around £30-60 each, depending on the season.
