ABOUT ME:
I’m a PhD student at the University of Leeds studying sociality in birds. I live with my small, hypoallergenic dog, Beans (see photo above 🐶). He’s very friendly and loves to play, so a dog-lover is a must! I’m really sociable around the house, so being friends with my housemate is a must. I love chilling on the sofa and watching a film after work, and so someone that would like to do that with me would be lovely. Also someone who is (relatively) clean and tidy and happy to help me with general upkeep ☺️ 

THE ROOM ON OFFER:
The room is a mid-size double room with plenty of storage space for clothes.

THE HOUSE:
+ In a great location - right next to the bus stop taking you directly into the city centre! Close to amenities such as Kirkstall shopping park and Bramley Falls Park
+ We have a good-sized living room with a big, high-quality TV and subscriptions to lots of services.
+ The kitchen is a newly-renovated open-plan kitchen/diner with lots and lots of storage space. I keep most of my things in the pantry, and so the cupboards are essentially yours.
+ Washing machine, ironing board, iron, brand-new shark hoover (and much, much more!) all available for you to use
+ Outdoor storage and good-sized garden

COUNCIL TAX:
I’m a PhD student so I don’t need to pay council tax. It would therefore be easier to rent with another postgraduate student if possible, but I’m not opposed to tax-paying professionals as well. Although this would change the monthly rent slightly so that council tax is accounted for (approximately £420)
