The room has become available as I’ve purchased my own property and so, need to swap out for another tenant. I’ve been in the property since 2017 and haven’t moved because the location, price, amenities and facilities nearby have been so good. Other housemates have been in the property ranging from 1 to 3 years. Contracts renew on July 1st, so you would be taking my place until then but with the option to renew that contract and stay another year if you so wished, which is often the case.

Cockroft Mews is a private estate on Chapel Lane, near the Co-op and Burley Station (only a two minute walk away).

Rent without bills is £500 a month, with all bills and council tax coming in around an extra £98 (roughly £598 a month all in). Deposit is £400.

The estate itself has its own car park and each house has their own rear garden with furniture. There are three young professionals who are looking for someone who is like-minded.

Household type: the area is quiet, a very pleasant place to live. The walls of the houses are fairly thick, so there is not much noise that can be heard from neighbours. Letting agency requires references upon successful application.

It is a young professional estate which consists of young nurses, doctors, and some medical students so it is ideal for those looking to study at a post-graduate/PhD level/junior doctor or just live in a safe, comfortable young professional let.
