Bright room in Burley (Leeds)

Hello!
I’m looking for a housemate to fill a flexible short term let in a lovely shared house in Burley.

The House/Room:

The available room is a furnished good sized double room with restored wooden floors, lots of storage and a big window. The house has been recently renovated and has loads of natural light, a sun trap front yard, and a large basement accessible from outside and inside. It has central heating and is double glazed. The landlords are responsive and proactive. It has street parking right outside, and it’s a short street so it’s safe and quiet.
It’s a 3 minute walk from Burley Park train station, 5 minute walk to Co-Op, and 10 minutes into Headingley.
Burley Park is close too, as well as great local spots like Left Bank and Hyde Park Picture House.

About me:
I’m Chloe, I’m a teacher at a local secondary school. As a result, I work a lot and have quite a rigid week routine, but with my spare time love to exercise, socialise, go on big walks in the countryside, swim in rivers, go out dancing, and get to the coast for a surf at least once a month. I’m vegetarian (mostly vegan) and would generally prefer to live with someone who limits their meat consumption to out of the house. Flip side is I love to cook and share food so will feed you often!

I’m clean but not obsessive- I don’t mind washing up left for a day if you’ve been in a rush! My current housemate and I don’t have a cleaning rota, but we work proactively to keep the space tidy, clean and nice to live in. I’m massively here for open communication, I’m direct but understanding and will always work for a compromise.
I’m very committed to equality and human rights (pro 🍉) and have 0 tolerance for any form of bigotry- racism/homophobia/transphobia etc.

I’m open to a housemate of any gender, as long as you’re kind we’re all good!
