Spacious Double Room, Chapel Allerton

Hello!

I’m Kerry and I’m hoping to find someone to replace one of my housemates who will be moving out in June. I work in a lab and my other housemate (Ruth) works for a car rental company. We enjoy spending time with each other but we are also respectful of each other’s space. We are looking for someone who will fit in with the dynamic of our home and hopefully be a friend as well as a housemate.

The room for rent is a big double room on the ground floor. The room comes unfurnished and is available from the 18th of June.

We're lucky to have a modern open-plan kitchen/diner/lounge (with a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, fan oven and gas hobs) which is a perfect space to spend time chilling after work watching TV and cooking. There's a conservatory which leads out into a big garden with decking and plenty of grass. There's one bathroom which is modern, clean and has a really good shower (great water pressure if that's important to you!). In the rest of the house there is a box room, which we use for storage and for drying clothes and also a massive garage which also has plenty of space for storage if you need it.

The house is in a fantastic area: it's only a 5-10 min walk into the centre of Chapel Allerton, it is close to Meanwood in the opposite direction and only a 10 min Uber into the city centre. There's a bus stop into the city centre a 2 min walk away and it's only a short drive out into the countryside north of Leeds.

We rent the house through a really lovely private landlord so there are no problems with having to go through an agency and if we have any issues they get addressed straight away. The room is £450 per month which covers rent and all of the bills (gas/electricity, water, broadband & council tax).
