We are two housemates Hugh and Andy looking to replace a friend who is moving out. A third room will be available from
15th January in a nice terraced house on a quiet street close to the heart of Chapel Allerton. 3 storeys with a spacious cellar.
We would like someone who is sociable and friendly, as this is a house-share. Also you should be in full-time work or education, as this is a requirement of the landlord/agency. We would like to find someone reliable because rent is a joint responsibility.
Shared space includes kitchen, dining room, living room and bathroom as well as an upstairs spare room ideal for anyone needing to work from home.
This is a joint tenancy and we are jointly responsible for bills. We currently each pay £130 monthly in addition to rent, which includes council tax. There is a good internet connection with a router and signal booster.
Rent is paid to a rental agency (who require proof of ability to pay - which is done through confirmation of employment and a basic credit check).
There is on-street parking as well as quick access to the main road with bus routes giving easy access to the city centre. The location is also within walking distance of the Universities.
The bathroom has recently been totally renovated with modern fittings.
