Room in three-bed terrace on Victoria Street!

Hi!

Laura and I live in a three-bed, terraced house on Victoria Street. The street is beautiful! We would like to find someone to move into our spare room. It is the box room. It currently has a single bed, set of drawers and wardrobe in it. It has a large window and is a really light room.

The house has two other bedrooms, a bathroom, a living room and a kitchen. We also have a gorgeous little garden.

We are both young professionals (26 and 28 years old respectively). We cook for each other quite a few nights of the week. The house is generally always tidy. We do a big clean every couple of weeks. We don’t have a schedule; we do it as and when we can. We buy communal cleaning stuff and toilet roll. Again, it’s just as and when and we need it.

Rachael: I adore reading, cooking, learning Italian, making clothes (fairly badly!) and swimming. The kitchen is my favourite room!

Laura: I really enjoy running, horse riding, road cycling, tennis, squash and any sport really! Both of us like going to gigs, the theatre and going out for dinner...a lot.

We would like to live with someone who is relaxed, respectful and fun. We both work hard during the week but are up for doing stuff together mid-week and at the weekends.


Cost

Rent: £250
Water: we have paid £150 between us for the next 6 months. We can work out how much it will be when we know the date of move-in.
Gas and Electricity: we pay on a quarterly basis. The bills have never been devastating. We are coming up to the summer and between the three of us should be no more than £20-£30 each per month.
TV licence: it has bee paid for the next 12 months. We can work out the third person’s share.
Internet: £20 per month in total.
Council Tax: £100 per month in total (it was £120 per month but seems to have gone down!).

In total, it should be no more than £350 per month.

The property is rented through Hendy's so our new flatmate would have to go through Hendy's and we would need a new 6-month contract! This would involve in a small one-off cost!
