Fun friendly double room for rent in Churwell

The house is located on a nice new estate in Churwell, within a few minutes walk of Cottingley train station (but far enough away not to hear trains go by) for easy access to Leeds (1 stop) or Huddersfield. It’s also fairly close to Leeds city centre (around £7 in a taxi).
It’s a 3 bed, 2 bathroom (+downstairs loo) house, with everything you’d expect - good central heating, nice shower, garden at the back, garage to the side, on street parking available.
The lounge has a comfy corner sofa, dining table and 55” smart tv with netflix making it a good place to relax. The kitchen is nice and cosy with modern appliances (recent dishwasher and oven). We’ve got a fridge, fridge freezer and chest freezer to make sure there’s plenty of storage space. There is a downstairs toilet and a bathroom on the first floor, along with 2 of the bedrooms (the other bathroom is en suite to the main bedroom on the top floor).
Bedroom 1 (TAKEN) is large and spacious, comfortably fitting the double bed and desk. There are built in wardrobes with plenty of storage space that could cope with most clothing collections!
Bedroom 2 (AVAILABLE 22 August 2022) is a nice size, with really comfortable double divan bed including storage underneath. There’s a good size wardrobe with built in drawers and a desk in the room as well.
I’ve lived in Leeds for 8 years and mainly lived in house shares so like to think I know what works well in them. Before that I was travelling around the world for 2 years. I’m an accountant in Leeds city centre and my girlfriend (Jess) has her own beauty business in Morley. Aidan (housemate) is also an accountant in Leeds. We’re all very sociable and enjoy travelling (when allowed) and keeping fit...then getting unfit again with a few drinks on a night out. We also have a friendly small pet dog (Nola - included in the living room picture).
Looking for someone sociable and respectful, who we can get on with when we’re all around or comfortable in their own company when we’re not.
