Description
Suitable for a single occupant or a couple. We are a professional couple with a 3 year old boy; well behaved! We have 2 connecting bedrooms available which are located at the end of the house, very private and they come as 1 room!! There is a double and a double/twin (king size divan included); a big space within the house. The bedrooms have an interconnecting lockable door, making this space perfect for a bedroom and an office/own living area of your own; you are also welcome in our living room. The bedrooms have recently had new windows. There is a WC and a bathroom which includes a roll top bath (with shower) & sink; we rarely use these but needs to be described as shared as we need to bath our little boy now and again! We have plenty of space for storage.
Please add an extra £100 pcm for a couple renting.
The house is early Victorian and is packed with original features such as a stained glass window and fireplaces and is undergoing a long-term renovation project so is really interesting for anyone interested in history, interior design and/or architecture. Recently landscaped, south facing garden, great for summer months. Plenty of parking and a nice quiet area.
Our home is a large, detached property built from York stone, which dates from the 1840s and is situated in the traditional village of Cullingworth. The village is in Airedale in West Yorkshire, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, near the cities of Bradford, Halifax and Leeds and only 3 miles from the historic village of Haworth. The nearest train stations are Bingley and Keighley which have regular trains to Leeds, Bradford and Skipton. There is a bus from the village that goes to Bradford, Bingley and Keighley.
Our neighbourhood is safe & quiet, situated in a small Yorkshire village.
Although Cullingworth is a small village we have good local amenities within 2 minutes walking distance, including a pub serving good food and locally brewed ales, 2 convenience stores, a newsagent, a pharmacy, a post office, an award-winning butcher, a fish & chip shop, an East Asian takeaway, a cash machine, a gift shop and a selection of hairdressers.
Sights to visit nearby include; the World Heritage Site of Saltaire, the village of Haworth (home of the Bronte Sisters), the picturesque scenery of the Yorkshire Dales, Skipton, the Settle-Carlisle Railway which travels over the famous Ribblehead viaduct, the Keighley and Worth Valley steam railway, various museums such as the National Media Museum and Eureka children's museum, the Leeds-Liverpool canal including the famous Five Rise Locks, the shopping and nightlife of the vibrant city of Leeds, as well as fantastic views and even walking within the village of Cullingworth itself, such as the Great Northern Railway Trail over the Hewenden Viaduct.
