Friendly postgraduate house share in Headingley

Us ✨

We are a group of 5 postgraduates living in a 9 bed house. We are looking to fill the 4 spacious double rooms which have become available for the coming academic year.

We are all doing our PhDs and are looking for postgraduate students (PhD or Masters) to live with us.

We have a range of interests including gigs, crocheting, running and hiking. We are looking for a social person who would enjoy a pub trip or chilled night in. The rooms are really big though so if you would prefer time alone there's no problem. If you are new to Leeds we'll be happy to show you around and give you recommendations for nice places to go. Our house is also absolutely LGBTQ+ friendly!


The House ✨
All the rooms are large doubles, each with a sink. There are 3 toilets and 3 showers spread across 3 floors. There is a larger kitchen shared between 6 on the ground floor and a smaller kitchen shared between 3 on the top floor. We all have a large desk and a chair for working from home. Our landlord is extremely nice (which is a big selling point!) and will sort out any problems very promptly.

The house is located right off Headingley high street. This is a great location for getting the bus to University or into town. The Sainsburys local is 2 min walk away and the Aldi is around a 15 min walk away. There are lots of restaurants and fast food places on the high street and the charity shops by us are really good. The Gym is a 30 second walk away too.

Rental Terms ✨

We pay £500 per month for rent and towards bills. This covers WiFi, TV license, gas, electricity and water. Any over-pay or under-pay for bills is sorted out at the end of the year. New tenants must pay £300 deposit and 2 months rent in advance.

NOTE: international students are warmly welcomed, but our landlord requires either a UK guarantor or a year's rent in advance.
