Description

Lovely double room available in my quiet two-bed house. The room faces west and has an amazing view over the valley. It’s furnished with a comfortable double bed, wardrobe and table. The bathroom is shared with me and occasional guests.

The house is a 1980s semi with a nice little garden. I’m still in the process of doing up the house, so the kitchen and utility room are a bit rough round the edges. But everything works and it’s a lovely place to live.

It’s up in Old Town, which is a five minute drive, or 30 minute walk, down to Hebden Bridge, or there is a bus every half hour. Old Town Post Office, which has a shop and a great cafe, is a five minute walk away.

You'd be sharing with me, and Elvis the cat. I work in public policy, generally from home 3 days a week and in Manchester 2 days a week. I lived in London for a long time, and have also spent time in France and California. Moved up here three years ago and love it here. I’m friendly, relaxed, trustworthy and considerate. I’m looking for someone similar, who’s easy to be around in the house.

You can park on the road outside the house. All bills are included in the price. There’s a loft where you can stash your spare bits and bobs.
