I've lived here for the past four years & rented out my two spare rooms the entire time, I’ve recently moved away but my brother is 5 minutes up the road to help if needed. The house is a lovely place to live, with art & plants everywhere. It’s very spacious with 2 living rooms, & a separate kitchen.

Bedroom comes furnished with:

The room is West-facing, so gets lots of afternoon sunlight. The windows have sheer curtains halfway up for added privacy. The room measures 11' 5" max x 10' 9" max (3.48m max x 3.28m max).

You'll have shared use (one other person) of the large living room with gas fire, tv with google chromecast, & original wooden beams. Plus the dining room/second lounge (with large dining table & double sofa bed for guests) & kitchen (with aa smaller dining table, dishwasher & washing machine). There’s ample food storage space in the kitchen & room to bring your own pots/pans/plates if you wanted.

The house is in the very centre of New Mill:

- Holmfirth: 3 min drive / 10 min bus / 30 min walk / Taxi is £3.50 anytime
- Huddersfield: 20 min drive / 30 min bus
- Sheffield/Leeds: 35 min drive
- Manchester: 50 min drive

In 1 minute you can walk to a small co-op supermarket (open till 9pm 7 days a week), a post office, 2 pharmacies, a pub, a great butchers (with local eggs, cheeses, loads of loose fruit & veg), an Indian restaurant, an Indian takeaway, an Italian takeaway, a Chinese takeaway & a hairdressers. A 2 minute walk would also include a mechanics & a park. Close to all the bars & restaurants of Holmfirth, whilst still in the countryside with much better parking!

There are 4 parking spaces right outside, plenty just up the road & a free car park across the road. I've never had to park more than 20 seconds walk away. There’s an locked little outhouse with space to store one bicycle vertically & also a wall mounted bike lock under an archway for secure & dry parking of a motorbike/bicycle.

I’d like to find someone my housemate gets on well with. Must be trustworthy, references would be needed. I’ll do initial interviews via Skype, before our housemate shows you around.

Double room £430 PCM (includes all bills & £40 per month towards the gas & electricity, this is the average cost of this over the year. If the gas & electricity usage goes up/down this can be increased or decreased as needed)
£450 bond & first months rent in advance.

The current housemate is very friendly & easy going but also pretty clean, tidy, & eco-conscious. It would be great to meet someone who will be the same.
