Quaint cottage in Holywell Green

I have one room available in this lovely little terraced cottage. The house has been recently refurbished. The existing housemate is a professional man who only stays a few nights during the week for work purposes . I'm very selective with who I allow to enjoy my house. The house is over three floors, with great industrial era character. The existing stone steps to the kitchen are still in place under the modern stairway and the walls are never quite flat.

All bills are covered and all the usual amenities provided including broadband.

The house has one shared bathroom and also a downstairs toilet. The basement kitchen is another great feature of this house with its beautifully rustic tiled floor and windows looking out onto the entrance to Shaw Park. The kitchen has a TV and all the usual amenities. Above that is a large front room also with a TV so plenty of scope for separation between the housemates when wanted.

This is a proper house, lived in and loved. Not a commercially run flat share with 6 people in neutrally decorated rooms sharing one kitchen. I am proud of the house, there are touches that make it a home not a business, like my great grandparents old wooden chairs either side of the fireplace and the collection of mugs in the kitchen. The only reason I am making it available is because I'm in the military and am never there so it makes sense to let it out.

This place will feel like a home to you, you will have the run of the whole house along with my existing lodger.

Please note, in one of the pictures, one of the rooms appears to have no bed frame, this is not the case! Both beds are proper beds!
