A spacious double room in a large comfortable home in Ilkley, with en-suite bathroom. There is shared use of the kitchen, dining room, living room, and small garden.

There is parking in front of the property, which is close to Ilkley train station and park.

The homeowner provides a welcoming friendly home. He is a retired professional. Enquirers with a well-behaved pet dog might be considered. The householder smokes in the home.

Ilkley is a picturesque town with many lovely walks, cafes, galleries and good transport links.

This opportunity might be suitable if you:
- are available and willing to provide practical support for 10 hours each week which might include light cleaning, cooking, laundry and company.
- are available to spend some sociable time together, for example sharing meals.
- agree to us requesting references and UK police DBS checks
- provide an overseas police certificate if you have been in the UK less than 5 years.
- can afford the monthly fees: £180/ month plus bills: £80 gas and electric. Depending on your income there would also be council tax, a maximum of £49.25/month. This does not apply if you are a student.
- This retired Homeowner feels more at ease sharing his home with a female, however everyone is welcome to enquire to the Homeshare scheme, generally.
