If unable to drive then there is public transport - 2 miles to Woodlesford train station with only a 3-minute walk to the bus line (next to the river meets cafe) which takes 30 minutes to Leeds city centre.

There is also a scenic nature trail which I often enjoy running also a cycle route that goes direct to Leeds & Woodlesford.

With local amenities in walking distance, post office, mini-market & pub. There are 2 big supermarkets (lidl/morrisons) in Oulton and Rothwell leisure Centre which has a pool.
