ABOUT THE ROOM:

This large room is located in Burley. The house was recently renovated to a very high standard. The room is offered fully furnished with a bathroom shared between you and just one other. (The other housemate has his own bathroom.)

Storage space is often overlooked in rooms in shared accommodation, but that's not the case here: The room comes with an ottoman style double bed, so plenty of space for storing larger items under the bed. There's also a 10 tier book case, as well as a large glass fronted wardrobe (see dimensions in photo).

This would suit a very clean and tidy person, since you'll be living with like-minded, friendly and respectful housemates.

No musical instruments, or smoking in the house, please. No pets either (although something like a gerbil where furniture damage isn't a concern is fine).

(The room wasn't filmed to respect the current lodger's privacy, but it's as big as the lounge. The dishwasher has also been removed since it was never used. Both current housemates are COVID vaccinated)

Asda & Onestop are within a 5 minute walk.
There is a bus stop 3 minutes walk from the property that goes straight to the centre of Leeds in 15 minutes.
On street parking is available with no permit required.
Virgin Active, Coach Fitness and JD gyms are all within 10 minutes walk.
The Cardigan Fields complex includes restaurants, bars, cinema, etc and is also a 10 min walk away.

ABOUT YOUR HOUSEMATES:

I'm a 30 something recent vegetarian convert. (Still seeing if that sticks, though). I meditate sometimes too now but hasn't the lockdown fairy brought us all strange new skills? I work remotely as a software developer and I'm into running and cycling (not so much at the moment, though). I keep myself pretty busy but I'm always down to hang out. Favourite film: The Aviator. Favourite food group: cake.

Theres also Mike in the house who's a claims investigator. He's also somewhere in his 30s. Loves his footy. Hates his job. (Although, who doesn't... oh, wait me.) He did art at Uni and still dabbles in drawing (and is actually quite good, but he wouldn't admit it).
