I am a live-in householder with one Lodger and his dog, so one double room available in a three bedroom house! The available room currently has a couple living in it who are due to move out by 30/09/24 . We are friendly, considerate, respectful and social people, and looking for a similar type of lodger or couple so this house feels a home.
A little about me, I am a civil engineer designer and site supervisor, and my time at work is split between being on-site around England, working from home from Leicester and Leeds, and working in Leeds office. I like to enjoy some yoga, meditation, cycling, football, kickboxing, cinema, movies/ TV shows and travelling/ city breaks/ retreats, DIY and cooking. The current lodger owns his own clothing printing company, performs in his band, and owns a lovely, friendly and affectionate dog which is like a house pet.
The current double room is £650pcm for single occupancy and £850pcm for couples.
Rent includes: gas, electric, water, broadband, TV licence, Netflix (on living room TV), building and contents insurance, boiler cover and council tax.
House chores for lodgers such as cleaning and purchasing house essentials like washing up liquid, detergent and toilet paper will be all of our shared responsibility. Room to rent will be refurnished and additional furniture and fittings may be provided by me upon request.
For short term rent (less than 3 month) I will consider this and increase in rent on a case by case basis.
