Hey!
I'm a live-in landlord with a spare double room in my house which will be available from 1st November for a minimum 2 month period.
The house is in a great location (Kirkstall, LS4) with several gyms and supermarkets in close proximity, Headingley station 5-10mins walk away, 15mins walk into Headingley, a bus stop into town is outside the house and great access to motorways.
The bedroom and house are fully furnished. Kitchen facilities include: Washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, 2x fridge freezers, ceramic hub/electric oven. We also just do communal dishes, cutlery, etc. There is space on the drive for a car and a garage where a bike could be stored. The bathroom and kitchen are brand new fitted in the last 12 months. There are two toilets, one in the main bathroom and a separate one.
Bills are not included, they come to £135 a month each currently and include everything: Gas, Electric, Council Tax (Band C), Water, 500mb Internet and Netflix. Bills cost moves as things go up and down eg the energy price cap and council tax, so this part is variable. The rent for the room is therefore £515 and fixed for the duration of the contract. Therefore rent and bills are £650 total per month.
I work in management so am out the house quite a lot but in my spare time enjoy going to the gym, cooking, hiking, the odd Otley Run and Crossfit.
Other housemate works in the NHS as a Cardiac Radiographer.
Looking for a lodger who is clean, tidy and considerate. Don't mind smokers/vapers but outside only policy with it.
