Large double room available in city centre flat

Hi!

My flatmate is moving out in September, so I'm looking for someone to move in from 25 September onwards, until the end of our current tenancy on 24 July 2025, with the possibility to extend further. There may be some flexibility with move-in date.

The room is a large double with a king-sized bed and ensuite. The flat is larger than most in the Leeds Dock area, with huge windows and a really lovely view down the river from the balcony. There's plenty of space and storage in the living room and kitchen, plus another main bathroom, which I use. Video tour of the flat available on request.

I'm ideally looking for a young professional to move in, who I can get along with well, and who will be pretty clean and tidy. Please do get in touch ASAP if you're interested - it would be great to meet up and show you around :)

ABOUT ME:
I've lived in Leeds for just over a year, and work as a fundraiser for an arts charity. I'm quite quiet and often keep to my own space, but still want to live with someone I can be make friends with, and spend time with. I'm busy with various hobbies in the evenings and on most weekends. I'm a keen classical musician, and I spend much of my time going to theatre/opera and orchestra concerts, as well as cooking, baking, reading and hiking.

NOTES:
- The rent is £625 per person per month, but is currently discounted to £575 whilst there's still scaffolding around the building - but this isn't obscuring any of our windows in the meantime, so doesn't make any difference at the moment. There may be a small rent increase following the change of tenant on our contract, to be negotiated with the letting agent. Hopefully not much! :)
- Bills currently come to approximately £170 each per month, including council tax (band D).
- There's only one allocated parking space, which I use, but there's a possibility you can rent/borrow a space from others in the building, or you can rent a space in the large multi-storey across the river.
- Bike storage is available in the building.
- The flat is a 10/15-minute walk into the city centre, and a 20-minute walk from the station.
