Hi everyone!
My flatmate is moving out of Leeds for work, so I'm looking for someone to take over her part of the tenancy until our lease ends on July 7.
The flat is two bedroom, two bath - you would have an en-suite. It has an in-unit washer/dryer, full fridge and freezer, oven, induction stove, and the normal appliances (kettle, toaster, microwave).
The building is in the city centre, about 15 minutes walk from the train station and 5 minutes from the bus station. The building was completely new when we moved in last January, has 24-hr reception/security, and has a great community with resident events. It has a secure parcel room, a coworking space, a gym, meeting rooms, a bike store, and a roof terrace. There is parking at an extra cost, however I believe it is full at the moment. The building is situated in Soyo Square, which is away from the main street so is really quiet in the evenings and at night.
You can expect to pay a maximum of 900 per month total, with the monthly cost breakdown as follows:
Rent: 740*
Council Tax Band D: 85.5
Electricity: 40-50
Water: 10-15
*Included in the rent is wifi and access to the building’s amenities.
I'm 24 and work in a 9-5 hybrid job, and would be looking for someone around the same age who also is a professional (no students please due to council tax). My interests include going on walks down the canal, cosying up with a good tv series or movie, shopping in the city centre, and going on day trips on the weekend. I like both a night in and a night out, and love going to the pub to chat and watch football. Would ideally like to make a new friend as well as a flatmate!
Note that you would need to pass a standard Right to Rent check and provide references to the building before moving in.
