Room in central Meanwood

Hello! I'm a live-in landlord with a room available from Feb 2026. You can check my airbnb account for reviews if you want (The Gorse room) - I've done airbnb for a bit but want something more stable. The room available is a large double bedroom (14.5 square metres) on the ground floor with a double bed, desk and armchair. You would have your own bathroom, it's not en suite but it's just across the corridor from the bedroom. The house is well insulated and well heated. The rent includes all utilities, council tax and broadband. You'd also have access to the front garden.

I mostly work from home, I cook quite a lot and we would be sharing the kitchen. Looking to share with someone who's a bit sociable and is maybe up for cooking/hanging out together (I don't wanna live with a stranger!) on an evening but also respects the need for space - standard.

Location wise, it's walking distance from Aldi and Waitrose, 15 minute walk from Headingley. There's ample free street parking. It's also walking distance to Meanwood park and Woodhouse ridge if you like your green space.
