Spacious room in Meanwood

Hello all, I am looking for someone to take over my tenancy at the start of October to the end of June next year, as I am moving to London. Although I can be flexible on move in dates if you wanted to move in mid-September. This loving queer house is located in Meanwood, in a lovely area mostly with families and young professionals. We are about 15 minute walk from Sainsbury’s, and a five or ten minute walk from Aldi and Waitrose, and the stunning Meanwood park. We have a lovely little garden that we are working on at the moment, and we love to sit out there and talk to the neighbourhood cats!

The room is £466 a month not including bills. The deposit is £600.

Charity shops galore and a stunning independent coffee shop at the end of our road too! What’s more to love?

The house does not have step free access unfortunately.

The room is the largest in the house, located in a well ventilated basement, spacious with its own en suite shower, toilet and sink. The comfiest mattress you’ve ever felt in Leeds, and three large cupboards for maximum storage potential!

You would be living with Evan (they/he) and Tal (they/them) aka the best people known to man. We enjoy movie nights, we recently did a twilight marathon (but we do have taste) and love a communal meal. We are a very silly bunch who enjoy long walks on the beach (meanwood ridge) and utilising our huge dressing up collection, which you’re more than welcome to explore.

We are a trans and neurodivergent household! We also help out at dirt dykes, so we might be able to bag you a ticket!

Tal and Evan are mostly are veggie but occasionally eat meat, you would have the top shelf in the fridge as they are very contamination conscious! (I am a strict veggie)

We are looking for someone queer, who is friendly and cleanish! We would prefer anyone aged over 22 (we are both 24) who doesn’t work too late, but don’t worry if you do- it’s just a preference!
