Meanwood living

1 bright double bedroom in a shared house in the lively and up and coming Leeds suburb of Meanwood.

My current housemate is about to move out and I am currently looking for someone to fill his place (13th Nov)

I am a 32 yo male who has lived in the house for 1 year, renting from L&S. I am into sports, self development and creativity and am seeking someone that shares my values to share this space with. I work full time in North Yorkshire so commuting there most of the week and then do 1 day at home. I’m also a writer so would really enjoy living with a fellow creative + collaborating/ jamming out in whatever way.

I also play guitar, enjoy reading and writing, sports including hiking, surfing, and football, and going out for the odd beer or night out.

Meanwood needs no introduction. Close to Headingley and town, with parks, Woodhouse ridge, bars, pubs, cafes galore and a host of community activities going on nearby. I have loved my time here so far hence not wanting to give up the place just yet.

Looking for a houseMATE (the clue is in the name) aka someone I can be mates with, sociable & creative, who is up for a laugh, and have a deep chat every now and then. I’ve had houseshares where people try to ignore eachother’s existence before and it is not the one. Lone wolves need not apply.

I keep the space tidy and clean within reason. Cleaning done ideally once a week with shared expenditure on household items.

The house has everything you need, bathroom, fully fitted kitchen, storage space, gas central heating, washing machine and dryer. Any questions just ask.

There is an additional spare room that we can use as a creative space/ gym. Open to ideas on that.

The lease will be one year fixed term. Bills approx. £200 pcm (heating, internet, council tax etc)
