Rooms available in Quiet Shared House

We are a quiet, friendly, vegetarian shared household located on the edge of Utley, very close to Cliffe Castle Park. We have a large shared kitchen with ample space for eating/socialising together (at a Covid-aware distance!).

We have a shared bathroom and a shared shower room, both with WC & hand basin. Although the rental agreements are for unfurnished rooms, in practice the house is fully furnished and equipped, and bedding and towels are available if needed.

We don’t have a TV, and we don’t smoke or drink etc. Instead, we meditate! The house is owned by the local Kadampa Buddhist Centre (‘Buddha Land Centre’) and we are all either Buddhist or sympathetic to this philosophy. We seek someone similarly minded to join us.

The monthly rent includes all bills – council tax, utilities and wifi – and in addition it includes membership to Buddha Land Centre, allowing all residents to attend a wide range of classes and courses at a very good discount from the standard prices.
