A room to rent in my 4 bed semi detached home in Alverthorpe. Only a 15 min walk to Wakefield Westgate train station and a 5 min walk to Wrenthorpe Park.

I have a large furnished room with integrated wardrobes, bed, bedside drawers, desk and sideboard.

You'd have use of the master bathroom with heated flooring as I have an ensuite.

I have a private drive way with plenty of space so you also benefit from a parking space that's off street, hidden by hedges and covered by cctv.

I have a very large secure garden that you're welcome to use. Great quiet spot in the summer!

All bills are included including full sky tv package (I can put a sky box in your room at no extra cost), fast internet with a steady 150mb download speed. Also the cost of the cleaner (vists every fortnight) and gardener is included. Also included in tue rent is use of all household cleaning products, toilet roll, soap etc. All topped up and maintained.

I work as a Digital Head of Product and work hybrid going to the office in Leeds 1 or 2 days a week. I'm very social with a good bunch of mates but if you prefer to be on your own that's absolutely fine.

The one thing to call out is I do have a very large dog who is a 60kg Doberman x French mastiff. There are a couple of rules that go along with living with him which I would go through e. g. opening the door and answering for the postman etc. But hes the best security system money can buy and is trained and he will not be allowed in your room. I also work hard to keep the house clean and not smelling of dog and its maintained to a high standard.

So with the above considered you will have to be a big dog lover and be very comfortable with him in the house. If you dont like dogs it will not work. Unfortunately this also means I cant accept anyone who already has a pet.

My home is strictly no smoking and drug free.

This will be an ideal room for working professionals, people needing a sanctuary away from Leeds city centre but still commutable. It's about 25 min drive to town.

To any females looking at this ad. I appreciate the caution around renting property. I openly share socials and LinkedIn to prospective housemates, I can introduce you to male and female friends and most of my friends are now couples and married with kids etc. I have cctv which I can give you access to and my dog is the best security system you can buy. He loves women and children and hes very protective of the home from strangers.

I'm working and walking the dog every weekday and I travel fairly frequently with work. Ill be out with friends or with a girlfriend. So bottom line im not looking for anything more than a housemate here.
