Double room with ensuite - beautiful space!

Hello!

I have a double room with an ensuite to rent out, bills included.

You will have the whole second floor to yourself. It is a really lovely space, which I don't think the photos do justice. There is a door on the first floor, leading to the stairs going up to your room. It is light and spacious, with wonderful views of trees. It is east-facing, so you can watch the sun rise through the trees, which is beautiful. Loads of storage in the big mirrored wardrobe as well as under-bed storage, and bedside tables. If you smoke, you are welcome to do so in the front or back garden. There is free parking on the road, usually a spot right outside the house.

My house is situated in the beautiful village of Great Bedwyn, which is home to a pub, two shops (including a post office which sells amazing bread, croissants and other tasty bakery goods!), a village hall (which hosts quiz nights, fitness classes and cinema nights) and a tennis club. There is also a train station, so commuting to Hungerford, Newbury, Reading and London will be easy. We are situated between the towns of Marlborough and Hungerford, and Swindon and Andover are approximately a 30-minute car journey, so it is very easy to commute to these places.

The house is on a cul-de-sac so it is a quiet road.

The kitchen is new and a lovely space to cook in. Dishwasher, washing machine and all the mod-cons! It has bar-style seating there, as well as a large dining table in the spacious lounge.

I have a small garage, so if you need to put your bike in there, you will be welcome to do so.

You will be sharing the house with me, my 10 year old daughter and our cats. If you keep your door closed the cats won't bother you.

I work from home in an office in the garden, as well as home-educating my daughter. Please don't let any preconceived ideas of this put you off! She is a lovely little girl, and great company (and quiet for a ten year old!). She goes to a home education project a couple of days a week and we are often out during the other days, so it will be a relaxing environment for you.
