Looking for lodger

I live in a new build 2 bedroom house on the outskirts of Salisbury. The house has a large living room diner, a kitchen, a downstairs toilet, under stair storage, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There’s also a garden with table and chairs. The room I’m offering is the master bedroom. It’s well sized with a large built in cupboard, an airing cupboard that provides even more storage and an ensuite bathroom which would only be used by the lodger. There is a queen size bed in the room for use by a lodger. The room has recently been repainted and it has been professionally cleaned.

I live close to the Laverstock downs. The house is within walking distance of town, although there are also regular buses. There is street parking (but not requiring a permit) 10 seconds walk from the house.

I’m a professional who typically works 9-5 Monday to Friday, although I sometimes work late. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with friends and family, going for drinks and dinner, binging on Netflix, reading and travelling. The house is a pretty quiet one, although I do occasionally have my girl friends over. I’m a tidy and organised person and I prefer to be the person responsible for cleaning the shared areas in the house. When not on lockdown I tend to go away every other weekend.

I have a small but cuddly dog who is sometimes home in the day if I’m only at work for a short amount of time. If I’ve got a longer day he spends time with my parents at their house. He’s friendly and spends most of his day sleeping.

I’m asking £550 for the room and this price includes all bills including council tax, gas, electricity, water and the internet.
