Large furnished attic room available in a beautiful Grade II listed house in the village of Marshfield, just outside Bath.

The house sits in stunning countryside with incredible walks right from the door, but still has easy access to Bath, Chippenham and the M4. The village itself has two pubs, shop, post office and two cafes, making it a great balance between rural living and convenience.

The room is located on the attic floor and comes furnished with a bed and chest of drawers. You would potentially share the attic level with one other tenant (room currently being advertised separately). Or if you come as a couple I would cap at 2 people overall.

The house itself is full of character with lovely period features and a log burner in the living space. Downstairs there is a large kitchen and living area, utility room and a bathroom, with an additional bathroom on the middle floor and library room / office.

There is also a small courtyard space for sitting outside.

The house would suit someone who enjoys countryside living and has a busy professional lifestyle, as it is generally a calm and quiet home environment.

The owner works away in Scotland most of the time and is typically only back around one or two weekends per month, so the house will largely be shared between the two tenants.
