I can also furnish the room with other furniture, so please ask. The room overlooks the garden at the back of the house. There's on-road parking. There is space in a locked garage for a bicycle. The house has fast 70Mb broadband internet with good Wi-Fi. Gas, water and electricity bills are shared, with recent month’s half-share varying between £55 and £95 per month.
All good kitchen appliances – washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, air fryer, kettle, toaster, shared fridge and freezer with allocated space, oven, hob, pots/pans, plates, cutlery, utensils etc, and allocated cupboard space. Shared living/dining room. The lodger has shared use of the bathroom, with the second lodger. The garden has a patio, lawn, rear gated access, and two chairs with a side table. I use the house for quiet enjoyment, keeping it clean and tidy, and I look for the same in a lodger.
I'm a professional and the live-in landlord, working almost entirely from home currently. I’m halfway between introvert and extravert, courteous, and I enjoy reading, walks, cycling, cooking, playing musical instruments, card and board games, and the occasional film or TV show.
The house is just to the west of the city centre with a 20-minute walk to the city centre and 12-minute walk to the railway station. There's a Tesco Metro close by and other corner shops within walking distance. There are numerous bus routes from nearby roads. Also within 25 minutes’ walk is the city centre and at least two gyms and three supermarkets, and the leisure centre (with gym and swimming pool).
I’m asking £570 per calendar month excluding bills. The rent includes council tax and broadband internet. The half-share of gas, electricity and water bills has been between £55 and £95 per month.
