Double room in house share available in Salisbury

Relisting as l have been let down by the person who was due to move in.

Note this room is for SINGLE occupancy - no couples or families. This is not my stipulation, it is from the landlord and not something l can change so please don't ask. I am also not interested in people outside of my preferred age range. Also sorry but no pets allowed, again not my preference as l love animals but one of the conditions of the rental.

I am looking for someone to share my rented two bedroom house, situated in a quiet residential area to the north-east of the city centre (within the ring road). Approximately a 5 minute walk to the centre of town, or about 20 minutes to the train station.

There is a shared sitting room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom and garden. Own double bedroom. Residents only car parking for one car is available on the street, you will need to purchase a permit for this, it is approximately £120 for the year.

The bedroom: spacious double room to the rear overlooking the garden. It will be partly furnished with a bed and bookcase, as these have been left by my former house sharer (pictures give an idea of how large it is). There are two built in wardrobes, one is larger than the other, each has cupboards above so there is plenty of storage space.

You would be joining me on a joint tenancy contract to my landlord. I believe it will be a 6 month contract initially and then a rolling monthly renewal after that. So I am looking for someone relatively long term, not interested in short term lets. Anyone interested will need to be checked by the rental agency, there is no cost for this, purely to prove you have the ability to pay for the property. There is however a small charge - about £50 for changing the tenancy document for a new name.

About me: I'm a professional, l work with young people, which has me out and about a lot, but l also work from home one to two days a week. I keep pretty normal hours, so you wont find me coming and going at silly o'clock. I love horse riding, badminton, yoga, swimming, kayaking, skiing, sailing and lots of adventure sports when l have time . Also equally like a good evening in, baking cakes, watching a film, or a pint at the local at the end of the road. I'm looking for someone who is up for a laugh, no preference over male or female housemate, just hoping there is someone cool out there!
