We are looking for a lodger to share our large, 4 bed, detached house in the middle of a residential street. It’s 3 minutes from local bus stops, 15 minutes from Salisbury train station and the city centre.
A large bedroom with double bed ( 11ft x 10ft), a very good quality mattress, built in wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table and mirror. You will also have use of a large, beautifully furnished and modern bathroom, which is occasionally used by guests.
Our home is beautifully decorated with a comfortable sitting room, dining room, conservatory and a large, well equipped kitchen and diner. Outside there is a spacious patio, garden furniture and a well-stocked garden.
Parking is available on the road outside the property.
We are a friendly, informal, mixed race, environmentally conscious, retired couple, who enjoy socialising, sports and voluntary work in the local community. Our home has a calm and relaxing atmosphere. We love to cook vegan and vegetarian food from scratch.
We are looking for a responsible, reliable, professional lodger, ideally vegan/vegetarian, friendly, considerate and community minded. We would prefer our lodger to make themselves at home and not stand on ceremony. We believe in an environment of mutual respect. As we encourage energy and water saving, we prefer to share the gas, electricity and water bills on a monthly basis. The council tax and broadband charges are included in the rent.
Your share of the gas, electricity and water bills will average at £50 per month.
Room will be available from 7 December 2024.
