I have a double room to rent in my apartment located in Old Town, Swindon.
I currently rent the apartment from the owner and am looking for someone clean, respectful and house proud to share the place with. The plan would be for me to contact the letting agent to amend the tenancy agreement so both of our names are on it. I'm not advertising just the room per se, and would welcome anyone to share the living space with too.
I'm quite clean and tidy but I'm relatively laid back so I'm not going to kick up a fuss over a plate or a pizza box left on the counter on the weekend or whatever. However, in general I'd still like someone that's clean and house proud.
As for the apartment and the room - the apartment is deceptively big and the living room fills with a lot of natural light through the front window. The kitchen is somewhat open plan in that there is just an opening into it from the living room. It's not massive but definitely adequate for cooking and being able to move around in. There is a washing machine, dishwasher, kettle, fridge/freezer and microwave. All the cookware and furniture in the apartment is mine but happy to share use of it (all I ask is that the furniture and items are respected, I've had issues in the past of people treating the apartment and my stuff in it as a house share situation and not caring).
The room is a double bedroom and there is a wardrobe in there (which is massive by the way). The bed that's in the images will be taken out but there is a bed and mattress currently in there for use. All the other stuff in the images like the chair etc will obviously be taken out.
I have my own en-suite so you will basically have exclusive use of the main bathroom with the exception of guests if they're here. Again I'd like someone that would respect the bathroom and maintain it despite it being basically solely for their use.
There's one allocated parking space but there's plenty of spare spaces around the apartment that there's usually not an issue with parking.
