This newly decorated quiet room is in the middle of the house. It overlooks the garden, the park and the cricket ground. There is a comfortable double bed with memory foam mattress with a mattress protector. You will find storage space under the bed, a solid wood wardrobe with 2 drawers, a bureau, an office chair, a bed side table and a lamp. New bedding, cushions and fully lined curtains.

The house has a large, clean bathroom with bath, shower and two sinks. There is storage space for your toiletries under the sink. Next door there is another toilet with a small sink.

The kitchen is solid oak. Cutlery etc. is all provided. We have a large dishwasher; large capacity washing machine, 5 ring gas hob, a large oven with grill & a smaller oven with a microwave. You would have your own shelf in the large larder fridge. Freezer space can be provided if needed. There is gas central heating.

Due to the pandemic, two people work from home. One in the dining room, the other in the study.

There is a Tesco Extra supermarket and Aldi are 5 minutes’ walk away. Two GP practices ten minutes’ walk away. Many local shops and take-aways. Close to train station, bus station and coach stops which link the whole of Swindon and beyond.

The garden is a low maintenance courtyard suitable for evenings around a BBQ. You are able to smoke here.

The rent covers all utility bills including council tax and broadband.

Previous lodgers have parked at Tesco if nearer car parking cannot be found.
