My current housemate is moving out, so I’m looking for someone to take the spare room in our house.

The room is a medium-sized furnished double with a large street-facing window. It includes a desk, two small drawer units, and a built-in wardrobe/closet.

The shared bathroom has a shower over bath with good water pressure, plus an empty cupboard under the sink for your toiletries.

The living room has two sofas, one large enough to comfortably sprawl or sleep on. There’s currently no TV, but I plan to add one. I keep spare bedding available for guests.

The kitchen is well equipped with the usual white goods (oven, induction hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, 10 kg washing machine), plus a tumble dryer, Tefal grill, and an 11-in-1 Ninja Foodi.

Outside there’s a good-sized grass garden with table, chairs, and a coal BBQ.

Parking is straightforward: driveway, spaces opposite the house, and on-street parking.

Location:
– 2-minute walk to Tesco Express and a bus stop with direct routes to town and the train station
– ~15-minute walk to a shopping complex with Asda, McDonald’s, Domino’s, Timpson, and a petrol station
– Cinema complex and The Ridge restaurant slightly further on
About me:
I work in engineering and I’m fairly car-mad, with a couple of project cars and a small workshop setup in the garage. I’m handy with tools and general repairs. I’m also a casual PC gamer, and in summer I ride BMX.
I don’t smoke or drink, but I don’t mind if you do. I’m allergic to pets, so unfortunately pets aren’t possible.
I’ve lived in multiple house shares with both men and women and value clear boundaries, communication, and privacy. I’m open to any gender or LGBTQ+ housemates.
