A short introduction:
The house is shared with a group of young professionals from varied ethnic backgrounds, professions, working hours, and lifestyles. We’re all from Christian backgrounds, and I host a weekly group study on Thursdays (completely optional to join).
Everyone’s aged between 27 and 34. Our interests range from Netflix, cooking, and music to festivals, hiking, water sports, travelling, the gym, reformer Pilates, church, camping, climbing, reading, painting, barbecues, graphic design, and gardening.
We share responsibilities to keep the house tidy and comfortable — following the bin rota, cleaning as we go, and keeping quiet after 11 p. m. Everyone respects each other’s space, and while we’re not always socialising (many of us travel or work weekends), the atmosphere is friendly and considerate. When we do get together, we enjoy board games nights, food and drinks, or a bit of karaoke.
I have a lovely 7‑year‑old Husky–Labrador cross who stays mostly with my parents and only visits for a week or two every few months. She’s gentle, well‑behaved, and loved by everyone.
We’re looking for someone with a good sense of shared‑home etiquette — respectful, tidy, and considerate — who treats the space as their own. Shared interests are a plus, but there’s no expectation to be social or to share the same hobbies or beliefs.
First come, first serve with deposit.
If interested we require a valid proof of previous address and identification, and landlord reference; such as ID/Passport, and bank statement no older than 3 months.
Please note: Non British Citizens will require proof of valid visa documentation to live in the UK.
