All bills are included. With utility bills rising dramatically-to be all inclusive is reassuring. It’s a warm all mod cons house with a hive thermostat controlled heating system and I guess at this time of year the most important of features is a tumble dryer!
There is a really very well equipped kitchen if you like to cook.
A Co op supermarket is within easy walking distance and a Tesco megastore with a ‘World Foods’ section is only a short drive next to a Marks and Spencer food store and restaurant complex with multi screen Odeon cinema.
The spacious kitchen is of course the hub of the home and incorporates a really nice dining table.
As it’s very well equipped there is absolutely nothing that you will need to bring.
If there was something needed - I’d get it!
We even have a thermomix (the latest TM7 version) which I can show you how to use.
You can set yourself up for a free one month trial. I’m an Thermomix advisor (it’s an extremely easy to use cooking machine that slashes your food bills by making tasty things to eat from scratch. The future of cooking. Reassuringly priced and of exceptional quality.
We have a comfortable lounge to relax in, complete with a huge up to date Samsung smart television for film nights or your evenings entertainment.
Everyone has their own fridge here and 2 drawers of freezer space. , You will have your own kitchen cupboard and an additional shelf in a glide action pull-out unit in which to store your food.
The high quality back care mattress comes with a topper and mattress protectors ready for you to add your own pillows and bedding.
The bedroom has a particularly comfortable Kingsized bed. The mattress on this bed is a top quality back care one chosen by a previous lodger to ensure he slept well. I have provided a good quality mattress topper and protectors too.
Lots of storage space is provided under the bed as it is an ottoman end opening design.
The room available is warm, clean, comfortable and peaceful so It certainly does the job!
The house heating is controlled via a Hive system. There is a thermostat on the radiator so if you prefer it cool to sleep you can adjust it to suit your preference.
There is a mirrored wardrobe for your clothes / shoes etc. Bedside table with lamp and a chest of drawers.
Downstairs in the communal lounge there is a comfortable desk area that you are welcome to use occasionally.

There are plenty of quiet places to sit around the house... the desk working area, dining table, lounge, conservatory and garden in which to read quietly or just soak up the sunshine.
The present house sharers are the nicest around, considerate, tidy and friendly whilst at the same time respectful of each others private space.
The internet connected to the house is super fast full fibre optic broadband with unlimited downloads.
There is unrestricted permit free parking outside the front door or nearby.
Notably if you live at our postcode, The University of Bath allows a university parking permit only to people living a certain distance away so it has been known for prospective house-sharers specifically to search for a home in our postcode. Good to know!
The lounge telly is a beast of a thing ( i like a good telly ) so with this in mind 2 sets of TV dedicated wireless headphones are provided in the lounge so that you can continue to enjoy the curved mega screen after say 10pm without disturbing fellow house sharers (who may have to be up early). so wether you are an owl or a lark, as long as you stay considerate you will be fine here.
All the facilities of Trowbridge are close by including a selection of 24 hr gyms,
a multiplex Odeon cinema, restaurants with delivery, Waggamammas etc.
I already mentioned the really good Tesco superstore and Marks and Spencers but there is also a superb modern library/cafe and the prettiest canal and marina for running, walking, cycling. Current lodger is finding all the running routes in the countryside direct to the house.
The train station will keep you connected to anywhere in the country costing very little to park all day with weekly monthly and annual rates too.
There is a fast easy road network to the M4 corridor or the prettiest drive down to the south.
There is even a bus stop and a post box almost outside the front door.

I look for sensible sorts, house sharers/lodgers who will get on well and as a result this house is well kept and harmonious.
Things I pick out as this property as being different...well there are no cats ...Not even one! Everyone else seems to have loads of cats on ‘Spare Room’. We don’t! Individual Fridge space is mahoosive here as is the telly and we have a hive heating system - so you won’t freeze your socks off!
Easy access ground and first floor accommodation with parking right outside your own front door. Tres convenient.
This is NOT a 'Monday to Friday Only' arrangement ( unless that’s what you are looking for of course) so no kicking you out at weekends and you are not a guest here, this is your HOME and we are all on an equal, friendly and considerate footing. There is no feeling of treading on eggshells I hope or of being in someone else's house at this home.
The only thing I would point out is that its really not going to stretch to overnight guests too often...it's for single occupancy only and I’m afraid if you smoke at all then it's most definitely not the place for you.
Come and visit, have a coffee, relax in the lounge ...and see if you are on the same wavelength and if so then we can take it from there.
No admin fees whatsoever and a quick and easy process/decision so you can be in your new home In a jiffy. No one is held into long contracts here as the rooms go pretty quickly when they come up so I only ask for one rolling calendar months notice to move onwards when your circumstances change. In reality I’m looking for someone who will be with us for a min of 3 months and be a good match with my current lodgers. My outgoing lodger is I’m sure happy to chat too and give you a testimonial for us as a household to join.
I accept both short and long term arrangements to suit. We are more interested in having the right combination of people.
