ROOM AVAILABLE:
My name is Maria and I am a 35 year old who works in university administration. I am looking to rent out a bedroom in my three bedroom home in Aston Fields, Bromsgrove ideally Monday-Friday.

It is a double bedroom overlooking a large garden. You will have a double bed, large wardrobe, chair and bedside table with lamp provided. Internet speeds are good around the house.

You will be sharing the downstairs family bathroom (bath, shower, toilet) with me. There is a small bathroom with toilet and sink upstairs.

DETAILS ABOUT THE PROPERTY:

The house is situated within a 10 minute drive of two motorways (M42 and M5) in the centre of Aston Fields. It is a 2 minute walk to Bromsgrove train station where you can get in to Birmingham or Worcester on the train in 20-30 minutes.

There are lots of nice walks nearby, with the canal only a 15 minute walk from the house. You can also walk in to Bromsgrove town centre in 20-25 minutes.

A LITTLE ABOUT WHO YOU WILL BE LIVING WITH:

You will be living with me and two cats, Cheese and Biscuit. I’m a sociable and friendly. I would be up for sharing dinner sometimes or going for a drink but expect to give each other our own space. I'm pretty easy going and tidy. I enjoy cooking and travel.

DESCRIPTION OF THE ROOMS IN THE HOUSE:

KITCHEN

Good sized kitchen with oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster. You will have exclusive use of a kitchen cupboard to store food and kitchen items. You are welcome to share my pots, pans, plates, glassware, utensils. You will also have a shelf in the fridge and drawer in the freezer to for your exclusive use.

LIVING/DINING AREAS

There are 2 sofas with enough seating for up to 6 in the living room. In the kitchen there is a table that can be extended to seat up to 6.

GARDEN

The garden is large and has a patio that has the sun during the day as well as decking at the end of the garden which has sun late in to the evening.

PARKING

Guaranteed reserved parking space on the drive.

Last few points..

1) Self employed is fine as long as you can provide proof of income
2) No additional money required for bills. Flat monthly rent of £450pcm
3) No smokers
4) No loud music or parties
5) No pets and must like cats
6) Sorry no couples. Ok with occasional overnight guests but please can we have that conversation first.
7) This is a traditional house with steep stairs so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues
8) If you are interested in renting the room, please get in touch to arrange a time to come and take a look around and meet.
9) If following meeting I offer you the room, to commence with any lodger I will need £200 plus one months rent as a deposit (£650) prior to you moving in. I’ll also require a lodger agreement to be signed.
